Chapel Cedar, a family owned company located in Troy, Montana, was started as a post and rail fencing supplier over thirty years ago. Since then, we have grown to encompass an extensive planing facility and two dry kilns. Our continued growth has also allowed us to provide exceptional service and quality to a broader market including builders, suppliers, property owners, and the do-it-yourselfers. Beyond the products we sell, we are always looking for the best ways to serve our customers. In addition to custom milling, kilning, and planing, we also offer a number of higher-end products. Our specialty line of siding materials include hand-crafted Haida wavy edge skirl siding made from western red cedar; bevel, channel, and shiplap siding; hand-hewn siding; fineline tongue and groove and WP4 Tongue and Groove siding.

What's more, our our very own custom cut “scorped” designed siding remains at the forefront of our more trendy line of wood products. This unique siding features deep, flowing curves lending itself to a rustic, hand-crafted look. And for the Montana homebuilder, having this option brings a whole new dimension to mountain-style architecture.
